My paintings are figurative and colourful and – above all – they tell a story, based on the following eight categories: architecture, birds, ships (including sailboats) and culinary scenes: in small, medium or large square shapes and in a dual format. This collection, created using high-quality oil paint with maximum use of pigments, applied to finely structured portrait canvas or panels, translates the finest traditions of the seventeenth century into my personal style, with Rembrandt – and his virtuoso light-and-dark contrasts – being my main inspiration.

I want my paintings to be long-lasting more than anything, which is visible in the meticulous techniques I use of underpainting and overpainting, under-drawing and finishing. I am extremely dedicated to my work: every painting I sell comes with its own official certificate, and even the packaging needs to be a joy to behold!
